She is in training to barrel race.  Fast is not the word for this girl. She has a gear most horses have not.

OUR FUTURE RACE HORSE BORN 3/28/05

 HOPE SHE CAN RUN!!!!!!!!

WE LOST THE MARE ABOUT 24 HRS AFTER DELIVERY!  SOME FRIENDS OF OURS LOST THEIR FOAL THE SAME WEEKEND AND LET US USE THEIR MARE TO NURSE OUR FILLY.  SHE IS PICTURED BELOW.  HER NAME IS "BLUE GIN".  SOUND FAMILIAR???? HER DAD WAS "GO FOR THE GIN".  HE WAS A KENTUCKY DERBY WINNER.  SURE HOPE THAT DERBY MILK MAKES OUR FILLY RUN.

A BIG BLACK DIAMOND THANK YOU GOES TO ALLISON & HIRAM PIERCE FOR LETTING "BLUE GIN" STAY AT OUR FARM FOR 5 MONTHS NURSING OUR FILLY!  WHAT WOULD WE HAVE DONE WITHOUT HER? ALSO A THANK YOU TO "BLUE GIN" FOR ACCEPTING OUR FILLY.
